Re. 1050 CHUM

RIP 1050 CHUM.

CTVglobemedia has decided to re-brand the famous Toronto radio station. It is now known as CP24 Radio 1050. The new station will basically broadcast CP24's audio feed on the AM frequency.

Of course, the previous attempt to re-brand 1050 CHUM failed miserably. Remember The TEAM 1050? However, even though it was an all-sports station, there was still a website that maintained CHUM's oldies format. Sadly, it appears that won't be happening this time.

It's the end of an era.

I think there's an oldies station at 1150AM.

If it's gonna be anything like the TV version of CP24, it'll be garbage.

CP24 is trash. I don't know why it's on everywhere. It's absolute garbage.

LOL. It's a channel that's played at my workplace all the time.
