The Designated Hitter

Will the NL ever adopt the DH? Will the AL have their pitchers hit? Will there ever be consistency between the NL and AL?

I pose the question and come up with some answers.

Enjoy!

Re. Interleague Play

Does interleague play still have the same allure? It has existed for 14 years and doesn't appear to be going anywhere. In fact - as you'll find out in this new article - interleague play is the guest that won't leave.

Re. Jose Bautista

Mr. Bautista hit homeruns #39 and #40 last night. He's seven away from the Blue Jays' all-time, single-season mark (47 by George Bell).

For the last few weeks, I've felt that Detroit's Miguel Cabrera should receive the AL MVP award.

But now......I'm wondering..........dare I say it?
