Today is the beginning of "Turn-off TV" week. The Hek will be honoring this by watching TV.

Tonight is Game two of the Canadiens/Hurricanes series; 7pm on CBC. Then, at 11pm on Omni 1, it's the Bernie Mac Show which is one of the most hilarious shows I have seen. And who could not forget the Jerry Springer Show; midnight on Sun TV.

Come on, people. What idiot schedules a "no TV week" during the Stanley Cup Playoffs?

In other news, Josh from McGill Improv was in Toronto this past week. It was great to talk to him. Check out his world: Budman's Blog. (That might be the wrong link, though. Apologies if it is)

TV turnoff week always has particularly interesting material scheduled against it - witness SNL's airing of its best-of TV Funhouse animation stuff this Saturday.

I'm in support of less TV in general, though I feel to see the impact one makes in forgoing it for a week. Perhaps to show the more addicted how easy it is. Which it is. In fact, I will ignore TV for a week, except for My Name Is Earl and 24... wait, I do that every week.

Blog-entry-style comment done.

As astonished as I was to find out there is a budman.blogspot.com, that unfortunately isn't me. I went to Australia, not Barcelona, but I can see where you got confused...

My website is in fact http://theadventuresofbudman.blogspot.com
